Booster Club (Förderverein)

The Booster Club is a non-profit, volunteer organisation comprised of parents and members who are dedicated to supporting the educational endeavors of the CJD Braunschweig, including our International School.

Our mission is to improve the lives and experiences of the students at the various schools throughout the CJD Braunschweig. Some of the ways we work toward this goal is by providing funding and financial backing for:

• Individuals going on class trips
• The purchase of books, instruments and special furniture
• Computers, software, and other technological equipment
• Applications for national and international competitions
• Various projects, both small and large
• Academic achievement awards
• Improvement of school facilities

Through our efforts, we continue to reduce financial disadvantages for individuals, as well as realize larger projects that are beneficial to all.

We are an officially registered organisation, and have 5 board members, who strive to represent all areas of the CJD Braunschweig including:

• Hans-Georg-Karg (Primary School)
• Hans-Georg-Karg Oberschule (Secondary School)
• Christophorusschule Gymnasium (Grammar School)
• Boarding House
• Academy of Arts
• International School

Chairman is Bakis Giamouridis.

Events
You can find us at many regular events throughout the CJD Braunschweig, and at various events during the year. Each year we run a café at the Christophorus market and the CJD Summer party, and we host and support many smaller events at the different CJD schools and institutions.
